The Trunk-Or-Treat program at the community events park for 2021 will be coming back tied to Trick-or-Treating around town on Sunday Evening, October 31, 2021. Keep an eye out here for further details.
Trunk-Or-Treat has become a tradition in the downtown area previously driven by Apil Scott and a crew of helpers including the guys at Grass Lake Chevrolet. However, the virus during the last year simply made it not safe for the night. Thus, with the prospect of more than 600 youngsters floating around town on Halloween night, the dowtown Trunk-Or-Treat had been scheduled as an even bigger attraction with vehicles backing up on the grass and curbs at the Community Events Park, 120 Brown Street in downtown Grass Lake. Perhaps the bounce houses, a cookie decorating table, the Grass Lake Fire Department with candy, the Warrior Club and a creative Haunted House, and Ghostrider DJ Services to keep things hopping, and depending on the youth vaccination option, Maybe all that could be coming back in 2021. Other vendors in the area to assist those who drop by to keep warm and take in all the tailgates, or trunks, to offer more treats for perhaps a trick or two during the night. Add to that the Grass Lake Chiropractic Office stop, and, the Lost Railway Museum for warming stations downtown, the night could well go beyond 8:00 p.m. and get way into the Dark of Night!!!
